Oil on spark plugs


I changed my plugs on friday and there was oil on the plugs closest to the firewall. The electrodes were not wet. The oil was below the threads. how bad is this?

*i change the oil right before i changed the plugs. all other plugs looked good, Only the back ones were wet

Did you spill any oil on the rocker covers?

nope, the plug was on the passenger side and the fill cap is on the driver side.

i agree with itschristorres8 most likely valve cover is leaking. easy fix.

I know this was ahile ago but what did you find out? Was it the valve cover and did you fix it?
