Stock headers are gone, Longtubes are on, one problem!!!!

okay, today me and my friend removed the stock headers and swapped out to the Longtubes, taking off the old headers, and installing the new ones were so easy. one problem.
as i had the passenger side manifold off, i broke my egr pipe in half.... i didnt have the thought of deleting at all so im looking to replace the pipe, im pretty sure i can find it at parks, i broke it in half like 6 inches away from where it bolts onto the manifold.

also, i somehow overlooked that i need oxygen extenders, i think i can buy some longer ones from my job (autozone), looking into that tomorrow.

also is it safe me to drive like 13 miles without any pipes from my longtubes back? will it also be safe driving it without the egr pipe hooked up?

I dont know about your snapped pipe problem but i can tell you this. You can drive without the complete exhaust. You may also drive without the egr connected. You will throw a CEL though...and due to no back pressure your car will feel sluggish. But its safe to do so till you get to your work

Yes, you can drive, but DO NOT leave it that way. It is incredibly harsh on the on engine, but you will be fine for the short drive.

it's not that harsh. Since the pipes are so far away from the engine there is less air being sucked back in like a vacuum so the valves won't burn themselves up.

since your EGR is broken and you are set on just replacing it, instead of making a bandaid for it. bend the old pipe twice and then put it back on the manifold. it worked for me for about 3 months

Took about 6 hours with a buddy, probably would have been 5 if we hadnt stopped to ride up to wal-mart 2 different times, with another person it is just so much better, i couldnt imagine how long it would have been by myself. it was really easy to do, and fun so....go for it, right now im looking around to find out a way to plug up the whole where the egr pipe goes, so it will be at least driveable 12 miles up the road.
