So why 4.10 on the AODE? I was thinking 3.73, why would 4.10 be better?

4.10 are better than the 3.73 from a a stop or slow roll,
and i have 3.73 and a t-lok already and a sniper tuner.....im gonna get the jmod as soon as i take it ouf the tranny, any1 done this before? or know how too? can imagine it would be hard, figured id ask

Take your time, don't rush, and hopefully the ball bearings don't fall out on you. If they do, DON'T LOSE THEM lol... And find a good diagram to show you where to put them JIC...

4.10's give more pull in the RPM's and the main reason is that the overdrive in the auto's is lower than in the standards. So the highway driving isnt affected as much.

The T-5 has steaper tranny gearing. that's why in my TKO-500 i had the overdrive gear brought down alittle.

all i did was put a little stall in mine and i was told that that would do the same thing as to install a shift kit

the j mod is a modification you do to your valve body. When you buy a "j mod kit", you get a new valve body with the j mod performed on it and you swap it out with your original valve body.

J is a man who helped develop the 4r70w and he thus created the J Modification that helps first the shifts, also known as the "J Mod".

or if you know a local shop they can tweak ur line pressure for afair price. that is if they have a lotus or other hand held
