if you want something like that, i would first try the methanol injection one, its still dangerous but not as bad as nitrous, its like a beginner type thing. I'm doing that one in about 3-4 months, just to get the hang of installing and using.

use a wet kit and the 3.8L stock internals can run a 75 shot easily and safely.

best time with 75shot and bolt-ons is punnypony with 12.4-12.5 ish, i forgot. But it will be a 13 sec car with traction no doubt.

Don't do nitrous just to say "oh ya, I've got nitrous, it's no big deal." Think about long term goals with what you want to do with the car and where you want to take it. Don't spend that $600 just to say that you have nitrous.

meth wont do shit for him. It is just a cooling agent it doesnt add oxidation.

get a wet kit, you can spray up to a 100 shot easy but without tuning dont go over a 50. Be sure to get a TPS/window switch, or a WOT and a window switch, get a wideband, and plugs that are a step colder (2steps for a 100 shot). Also get a heater and a blowdown system, and a purge is very helpful. That should build you a safe setup for sure.

With a 50 shot you would be mid-low 14s, with a 100 shot youd be in the 13s

Nice. Yea i wanna do nitrous cause i wanna try to make this a 11 second car. I wanna get a turbo, nitrous, 4.2L. I think i got the right mind set. But what would i have to do to tune it for 100 shot of nitrous?

you wont need both turbo and nitrous for just an 11 sec car.

and start with a 75 shot imo. and he means take it to a shop and have them dyno tune your car with the nitrous. otherwise you run a huge risk of blowing the motor.

you would need to get it on a dyno, dial in your A/F, get your jetting right, make sure you pull enough timing (about 4-6 degrees) makes sure your adding enough fuel ect.

if you have a wideband, any mail order tune will work just fine for an otherwise stock car. Its a lot cheaper than a dynotune. It is what I done and I have had no problems. Always run premium, and never go over a 75 shot, the upper intake limits it to that.

PunyPony's 12.5 was a five speed w/ 3.73 gears. If you are manual you will see high 13's if you can drive, auto you will see low fourteens.

edit- run a wet kit- zex is the safest.

umm no, a wideband will let you monitor your A/f making sure its ok, and a mail tune might be ok for a 50 shot, but you need to get on a dyno and dial in both your jetting and you. A mail tune will pull recommend timing but not what your car needs. Zex is a good kit, and safest out of the box, but far from the safest system, and way way way over priced. Dynotune nitrous has the exact same stuff and is a fraction of the cost and has everything to make the safest system possible.

idk if that was worth reading at all

anyway a 75shot is doable and safe as said
wet system 75shot you should be a full second faster then you are currently
your avg bolt on 75shot v6 will hit 13s easily

the best time is a 12.6X at 106mph

it all depends on what your goal is really.. some would say... save the money and buy a v8... you always taking a chance with nitrous... i dont care what anyone says but you are... i have seen some of the best engines go tits up with nitro... there is nothing wrong with a v6 and they are really good engines... but your taking a chance. If you spray into your intake your not taking as much a chance as if you were to put in a wet kit... then you really have to watch how lean your running.... anyhow.. just my .02 cents... cause its happened to a chum of mine... but it was an integra.. so good for him i say.. haha.

with 75 shot, i cut 2 seconds off my 1/4 and added 15 mph. Small thigns for nitrous kits add up, like switches, tunes, and other shit. I have a holley sniper universal EFI 4 cylinder/v6 wet kit, great starter buy.
