just about to build
i have a 1998 3.8 v6 mustang the car is from California and just got to minnesota last summer and i was thinking of putting a supercharger onto it. what all will i need to make sure this will fit? would it hurt if i were to use higher octane fuel in this car?

it wont hurt, but it won't do you any good until you get rid of the stock tune. How may miles are on the car.

i was thinking a supercharger off of a sc, so what all would i need for the fit to work, and what kind of possy would you recommend? i want to get rid of the one wheel peel deal

the supercoupe superchargers is a lot bigger job than you think it will be. The engines may be the same block, but there are plenty of differences between the two. I honestly would recommend bucking up and getting a procharger or vortech. Just get a frpp t-lok to get rid of the one wheel peel. and while your at with a t-lok get gears.

get a procharger or vortec centrifical...
but after a while your stock engine might ... well blow up from the stress

Don't scare the kid. It won't blow up. Your stock internals after a while will fail. Things like you may break rods, throw them through the oil pain, stuff like that. Chances are there wont be an explosion. It would be safer to build your car up, and replace the internals with forged before you go with a supercharger.

lol heres something ik stuff on lmao... ur going to need injectors fuel pump and exhaust and make sure ur engine can take it...39lbs fuel injectors, high flow fuel pump, and exhaust...ur enigne is goign to need to breath. and then a tune will be in order. ide go with procharger. it comes wtih and intercooler where vortech doesnt... 7lbs of boost

lol so am i so i took it off the road till spring...its getting torn apart and rebuilt as we speak..well its sitting there 1/4 torn apart to get rebuilt with forged internals haha yeah im driving a blazer now cuz it snowed...so its off the road till the salt is gone...
