I loosened the bolts with the belt still on so it had some tension on it. If that doesn't work get a buddy to hold it as tight as possiblt. If you do the belt idea, just loosen the bolts don't take them off with the belt still on.

You don't have to change the waterpump pulley out. Only the crankshaft pulley requires the shorter belt. Nope...I just took the bolts off, took the pulley off, and put the new one on. I also put some threadlocker by loc tite on there just for some added insurance. I used the blue one, not the red one.

It will still spin that way. Umm Try using a buddy to hold it still or use another socket wrench to hold on of the bolts in place whil you loosen another. Just becareful with the second one.

take a floor jack and position it under the crank pulley. lift it enough so that it puts some tension on the crank pulley but not enough to lift the motor. then put a socket on it and give it hell. worked for me

btw youl'll need a harmonic balancer puller to remove the crank pulley once the nut comes off. there should be a washer that sits under the nut, make sure that comes out before you try to pull off the crank pulley or else it won't move. good luck
