Redline 6000 rpms?
Both tunes I've ordered from VMP and Bamachips have the redline set to 6000. Is this actually safe? I've always bumped them down to 5500 because I'm to scared to rev that high. Can anyone help?

I have after market fuel parts and stronger valve springs and push rods and i was a bit worried about making the pull to 6000rpms
through an auto its doable as well as a manual i pulled to 6000rpms for half a year but once again i had stronger part.... personally if i were you i wouldnt pull to 6000rpm i dont think its needed...i doubt theres any extra power gain past 5500

I think vmp changed mine to 6k as well, but i need to check.
Since my car doesnt see 6k but at the track, i never messed with it. |
