What do the 2000's usually have right off the line, V6 for HP?

What does my CAI add average?

isn;t it like 193hp at the crank and like 160 something rwhp? the CAI adds maybe 3-5 hp to the rwhp.

Ok, thanks... Just wanted a general idea of what it had when it was born lol.. Thanks

I heard/thought it was 197 before, but wasnt sure...

np anytime just remeber thats only at the crank.. at the wheels it's lower and usually thats what we like to brag about

*No 3.8L v6 was made for the years of 87-93, In 1987 Ford chose to go with the 4cyl and 8 cyl engines as the only engine options, but retained the 3.8 motors for their T-Bird and Cougar platforms which featured EFI Port injection and internal engine balancing re-introducing the 3.8 back into the mustang platform in 1994.

There is NO WAY a musatng could only have 9% power loss from the crank to the wheels.

Id estimate that a 190hp v6 would have 150-165 rwhp

So what does it mean when they say 190 BHP...is it at crank or rwhp?

BHP= Base horsepower
RWP= rear wheel horespower

AFU= all f*cked up
rtfq=read the f*cking question
