3.8 stock block..
anyone know how much a stock block can handle?
my goal isnt past 600rwhhp...maybe over 600bhp depends but im curious if anyone knows. i cant find it anywhere on google

forged internals, stage 3 PP and a turbo kit
ive heard foxs running 9s on a stock block i dont see why a built engine with a stock block couldnt handle 500hp or 600hp

as long as the engine is built and stuff, the stock engine is fine. i dont see why you dont think a stock block could handle it. not tryin to argue

i'll ask a speed shop if they know. probably just manage or settle for 550 or so bhp. if not i might as well just get a short block stroked then throw a stage 3 kit on it
but idk i think it'll handle it...idk about nitrous though...might hold off on it depending wat the speed shop or dyno place will say

im thinkin i really dont want to go past 250rwhp... i just want somethin that can get up and go when i need it to... im thinkin about settlein for bolt ons and 4.10s.. and stay with the 7.5 rear end and t-lok it... but the essex block can handle big numbers.. but i wouldnt push it too high

haha i just want a lil more get up and go.. the engine rebuild will be way down the line... just some bolt ons here and there for me... one question... would shorty headers be direct replacement for stock? im gettin a h-pipe and cat back system fabbed up at the local shop for my stock headers and i want to know if when i get shorties it will be a direct replacement

i keep thinking about just getting a power pak and full bolt ons, this way i dont spend the real big money on forged internals, new rear and the turbo.... but the turbo is really worth it. plus i'll never be happy with it
