Eaton M90 for 1999 v6?

Hey guys. Just thought I'd say hello since this is my first post. I'll have pictures of my car up later. But ok. I'm thinking about getting an Eaton M90 with a the brackets and stuff for the install for like $550. I'd need to clean it up a little, but does that seem good and are they good on our cars? Or woud I have to do away with the split port intake? T.hanks in advance

you have to use a single port intake. so it is more of a step backwards IMO.

ya everyones going to tell you that you need the single port swap, so youll lose 40hp to gain maybe 50-75. so basically not worth it. youre better off doing the m112 swap or a turbocharger.

+1 to the M112

I am actually selling a M112, Plenum, and Throttle body (also have a ford gt supercar fuel pump as well) if your interested in it.

with the M90, you would have to put the single port heads back on and lose hp, just to gain back to stock hp on the split port motors in 99-04 mustangs.

like others have said, look into the M112 supercharger kit(03/04 cobra blower) or TMAturbo.com

Dont use the m90 its a step backwards and isent really worth it. Also if your looking for alot of power id go with the Turbo from TMA TURBO and if just looking for something more custom get ahold of MySteed on Main Page - 3.8Wiki he sells a M112 kit.

as everyone else has said, dont do the m90... thats a good upgrade for the 94-98's. if you want a roots blower on you stang go with the m112, but there are more options for better power for the new edge sixxers

in the single ports that is fine. just that in the splitport it isnt worth it. mainly cause they make the adapter to put a m112 on it.

Asking, if you have a singleport is fine, i just meant people with a splitport will always ask as well just cause their so cheap and easy to get.

i know whatcha mean... ive answered the same question quite a few times... a really good setup is a rebuilt supercoupe engine (around 2 grand.. lower compression ratio with stronger internals than the stang 3.8), splitport swap, and m112 kit. add it all together and its not a bad price for a new supercharged engine... not to mention 300+rwhp 300+rwtq with a engine that can take the boost and more of a pounding than the stang 3.8 can take
