Oh you could definitly have it done in a day, no problem.
Some of the things you will need to make it "easier" are either a jack and some good, preferably tall, jack stands. Or if you have access to a lift that would be ideal. The hardest part you will run into is removing the stock manifolds and replacing them with the longtubes. The rest of the exhaust is fairly easy, but being able to weld is definitly a plus. Grinders are a must if you need to cut any piping. You can either buy a full catback system already pieced together, which from personal experience, have never fit to great, or you could just buy the pipe yourself and cut/weld/(bend if neccessary), and buy the mufflers of your choice. Only thing that you'll have to order in that case would be the lts. Hope that helped a little. |

It does, I am trying to come up with a set of BBK shorty headers. I will have to do the headers myself, the rest I will have done by another muffler guy I have lined up. He just don't do headers. No idea why. Yep, got the lift lined up. Always nice to have friends lol.
Hope it does not take too much work overall lol. |

But anyway, I disconnected the battery and the CEL is still on. I thought that would reset everything. Any ideas there? Other then that, she runs great until WOT and then I have a miss or a bog. So until I get it tuned, I do not know if that is a rich issue or a spark issue, or what. Thanks for all the input guys, it has been amazingly helpful. |

Because headers are a major PITA on mod motors. You pretty much need to drop the K member to get to the bolts.
Try hitting the brakes when the battery is disconnected. You need to drain the last bit of juice out of the system to reset the codes. |

Dude you need to stop letting idiots work on your car. How the hell do they know its got a cracked manifold if you can barely see the manifold. I have never seen a manifold crack on a mod motor. More than likely it is a leak at the manifold/mid-pipe connection. I don't even know what to tell you about the 02 sensors. If they don't even know that the rear 02 sensors go behind the cat to monitor the cat there is no telling what the hell they did. Your computer could car less if the rear 02 are even in the car. All they do is monitor the cat and have no effect on how the vehicle runs.

Well ok, update. Fixed the cats, and placed the sensors where they go. Changed plugs, and a new coil pack. All have made improvements. So atleast we are headed the right way lol. Now I have a tuner on the way, and we will see if Joe (tricktuners) can finish getting her ready to run. I think she is just running really rich still. Everything runs fine, other then the exhaust smells like it is rich, and I have a bog at about 4200rpm. Maybe, just maybe we will be good to go by next week!!
