i wanna see some of ya'lls opinions. so the question is, which set-up is better? True duels or a mid pipe??

mid pipe is suppose to be better flow for some reason and i geuss it gives it a deeper exhuast tone? i dunno couple other guys know this stuff for sure.. i have true duals right now

the mid pipe is what connects the headers to your cat-back exhaust system... it comes in either a y/h/x pipe.. with or without cats

on an even firing motor such as the essex ford v6, it does not matter. however, a mid pipe is always best to tune the exhaust note and reach optimum flow on most applications

on an un even firing motor though a x or h pipe would be the best choice...X being the best supposedly

A H or X pipe is better for power. Reason being no two mufflers/tailpipes create the same back pressure. So then when one cylinder fires it can take the easiest route out and all other cylinders have the same opportunity.
It also helps balancing the exhaust pressures.
This is why an X-pipe provides more power than an H.

I have true duals with a crossover pipe and on the 6 It is a bit lower than some guys I know with mid pipes. I really don't think it matters that much on our engines though.
