Window Tint Help

hey guys i got a black 07 and wanna tint the windows. BUT i live in california were u cant tint it. but people do anyways. i wanna tint the sides and back but dont know how much to do cause i was researching it and you have to choose everything like color, reflection, and %. does anyone know what i should do? cause i dont know alot about how to buy it but im gonna have someone install it for me at a shop.

ok so you got a black 07... and with tint being illegal in Cali i would suggest getting no darker than 20%.. 25% would prolly be decent.. and get pur black tint... no color or reflection

alright. cause im gettin black rims also. so 25 on the front windows.... but wut about the small back windows and the back window....

cause i dont want people to be able to see through the back. but would it look weird with a different tint?

i would say 25 - 20% on the side windows.. then maybe 15% on the back.. but thats up to you... since its illegal there 15% maybe too dark

sry let me clear it up. its only illegal to tint the front side windows...

u cant tint the back and back seat windows as much as u want

I seen a mustang in my sub today with mirror tints lol it was crazy you can't see in at all even if you stick your head right up to it.

nah it wont look weird... thats what i have on mine.. cept i think my front are 25%.. im wanting to go darker all around.. i want 15% all around and double limo on the back.. that would be fun

it will be so hard to see at night.... but limo is 5 right? do u think i should go lighter like 10 or 15 or just 5?

15 isnt bad.. i think thats what my rear is now.. and its really dark... i told the guy i wanted 20 on the sides and limo in the rear but i think he did 25 on the sides and 15 in the back.. still looks nice though.. check out my car pics and see for yourself

yeah definitely... i liek how dakr mine is.. but i want it darker.. and it takes getting used to as well.. it was hard as hell to see at night the first few days i had it... and not being able to roll down the windows for a few days sucks as well lol

go to the eye doctor and complain of "light-enduced headaches" and symptoms of "photophobia." they can't really pick this illness out, but if you get a doctor fill out the exemption form from dmvs, you can be exempt from tint laws.

i have "photophobia" and maintain a 4-year exemption from the laws in GA, and all i need to do is check in every 4 years to update paperwork.

btw, i have 20% on every surface, an additional 2% 6" strip front and 0% (blackout) 6" strip rear...
