removing seats


--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so ive got a new sets of seats for my car..( last owner smoked and burnt holes in the seats. but my problem is that the bolts holding the seats seem to be seized up is there a locking mech on the back to bolts or anything i should be aware of?

for the front it just 4 bolts...15mm very easy. just a big wrench

so i got 3 of the four on the passenger side out without issue but the head on the back right snapped off. yes i was turning it the right way... any ideas on removeal of the shaft my easy out wont seem to turn it

u mine like drill out the whole bolt? cause i drilled into it to put the easy out in and it seems to be locked in there pretty hardcore

than get new bolt... from lowes home depot.. tru value..

or test drive one from ford.. and take a wrench an steal on

haha i dont know how the would like me stealing a bolt off one of the seats considering they ride with u here. and ill do that in the morning my drill is going dead

I cant remmeber exactly, but dont the seat bolts stick out through the floor. If so maybe you can get a pair of visegrips on the shaft thats sticking out and turn it the rest of the way out.

I can't remember if the back or front stick thru (or both). If it is sticking out the bottom, just put a pipe wrench on it and screw it out the bottom.

Tie a chain around your seat and then hook the chain up to lets say a truck and then hit the gas yanking the seat outta your car and your money!

There are crash sensors yes. Location I am not positive on.

u sure that isnt only on the 05+ plus cause there was nothing on the passenger side for sure and didnt see anything on driver
