Xcaliii Help!
OK, I have the drivers and everything installed. I ran through the process with the guy from SCT and it ran fine. I was also able to run it once on my own with not too much trouble.
Today I went to run the new logs and DAMN Im frustrated. I get it all hooked up like Im supposed to but then the data never comes through to the graph. All the dials on the top of the screen just read "50" and the log never really starts. Im not getting an error code or anything. I need to get some good data today to get this thing going. Can someone PLEASE make any suggestions? What could I be doing wrong? Im plugging the xcal into the OBD Im turning on the SCT software Im then turing on the car Then Im plugging the USB into the computer from the Xcal I then hit the graph button and choose which items to log It loads then does nothing. The graph never starts. It just sits there. Im stumped!!! Please, any idea's would be great. |

Try turning on the car
plugging the xcal in the obdii port (with usb unplugged) do a fresh boot and turn off all other programs plug in the xcal usb when its totally booted (the drivers need to be loaded before this step) wait 30 seconds for the computer to recognize the xcal start up livelink. |

That worked better. The system let me log these PIDs.

Yes as far as I know. As long as it has a USB port and Windows. The Vista version causes some "unofficial" issues though. The older versions work best.
