air ride suspension


i do believe this will be my next mod. ive never seen a stang that has this other than the ones on youtube. anybody know where the best place to get this stuff is? i just want the basic setup.

The only thing i don't like about that kit is you have to raise the car to get into the performance settings.

he means that a lot of people keep the general ride height just low, but to get it where u have optimal height for performance u would have to raise it up. but either way ur going to have ur default (wherever u decide to keep it day to day) aligned cuz then once u move it it will be out of alignment

I talked to the air ride guys a bunch at sema (2yrs ago). The thing i didn't like is to stiffen up the suspension for the "performance" mode it needs to be fully inflated.. ie max ride height. After i heard that i figured this was more of a bagger mod (to park the thing on the (sub)frame vs a performance mod). If it worked the other way it might be cool. Medium ride height for regular driving and slammed for racing.

i can understand that, yea it would be softer cuz the bags give some, but i imagine that unless ur a hardcore corner carver then it shouldnt cause any problems.
