trouble code question!!!!
I went to inspection today and code P0411 popped up which is " Secondary air injection system incorrect flow detected"...
does anyone know what that means and what it could be?

I'm assuming this is the 00 V6.
It does not have a smog pump, which is an air pump that added extra air to the exhaust. I don't think those have been used in some time. Perhaps you should ask a Ford service department what that code means. I'm guessing it has something to do with the EGR system. |

Our cars don't have Smog Pumps? I guess that leaves EGR. I thought the Smog pump added air to the cat? When did they stop using them.

so probably the EGR valve went bad or something along those lines!!??

It appears that an air pump is shown for 99-04 in the Ford parts manual.
We have an early 99 and it doesn't have one and I haven't seen it mentioned in the 99 shop manual. |
