quick question

justnobody Newbie Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: New Jersey Posts: 21	quick question hey, whats up? anyhow, i was thinking about getting some Mac LT and a cam for my v6 but my friend was telling me its a big waste of money if i dont plan on racing with it. Is that true? Right now im $5500+ a year on insurance so the last thing I need is a ticket or accident, to make my insurance go even higher, damn new jersey, well for right now at least I just want it to look and sound hot. how much is it to install LT and Cams? is it worth it? or is there other things I should add to make it sound better. All I have right now is a magnaflow dual exhaust. thanks for any advice.

so you have magnaflow duals... that that off the stock y-pipe or does it have an x or h pipe?

then i would get long tubes, a short h-pipe (needed to fit the long tubes) then a new dual system after that... that is what all will be needed if you want long tube headers

if you get the long tube's your gonna have to get a different h pipe and then the maganflows... are going to have to be refabed up to the h pipe... that is if its dual after the Y
