quick question

hey, whats up? anyhow, i was thinking about getting some Mac LT and a cam for my v6 but my friend was telling me its a big waste of money if i dont plan on racing with it. Is that true? Right now im $5500+ a year on insurance so the last thing I need is a ticket or accident, to make my insurance go even higher, damn new jersey, well for right now at least I just want it to look and sound hot. how much is it to install LT and Cams? is it worth it? or is there other things I should add to make it sound better. All I have right now is a magnaflow dual exhaust. thanks for any advice.

so you have magnaflow duals... that that off the stock y-pipe or does it have an x or h pipe?

then i would get long tubes, a short h-pipe (needed to fit the long tubes) then a new dual system after that... that is what all will be needed if you want long tube headers

f*ck you guys pay F*uckin alot for insurance!!!!! For my 01 under my name they wanted 4500$$ and I totalled a car......so I put it under my sisters name its alot cheeper ~1400$$(My parents have too manny cars under their name)

lol im only payings 652 every 6 months for full coverage...its under my moms name and im secondary driver...i totaled my old cougar "v8 72" and it got 6200 for it and i bought it for 5000 raised the insurance from...432 to 652 just cause of the accident..now i drove my car to school and got into an accident...i wouldnt have gotten a dime b/c i would have been considered the primary driver...but my name wasnt the primary driver...lol thank god the dear jumped out at 6 pm going to a friends house instead of 7am on the way to school....

I'm also insured under my moms name, the guy at the dealer ship told us about doing that because it was going to be to high of a rate.

if you get the long tube's your gonna have to get a different h pipe and then the maganflows... are going to have to be refabed up to the h pipe... that is if its dual after the Y
