Maybe a silly question here..


I just bought a 2006 V6 Mustang, I love it ,,,but...is it beneficial to have a dual exhaust on a V6...I have owned several V8s back in Australia and I love the sound they make..I would love to have a great sound out of this V6 is it possible?

It will let your engine a lot better if you get rid of the restrictive Y-pipe. So in my opinion it is beneficial.

going duals in any situation is better. unless you have a honda . you will lose power from to much suction . no honda can handle it ^.^ even s2k's =D

what DOHC is Dual OverHead Cams we have SHOC Single OverHead Cam

no it has nothing to do with your manifolds or headers. I have true duals (no mid pipe) and I have an SOHC the pipe just evens out exhaust flow since the gas will take the easiest exit it tends to favor one side. (why I got a cross over pipe)
