driving me crazy!!

got a question and need to know if it can b fixed... when i got my car it had a cool air intake on it but it sucked performance wise and there was an annoying whistle coming from the intake

...so i installed a BBK intake n 65mm throttle body (i love the performance)... but that same annoying whistle is still coming from the NEW intake

...please help me stop the annoying whistle!

replace the air silencer... you will probably have to put the old intake box back on im not sure... but thats what it is...

the aftermarket ones don't have them thats why you hear it now...

or get an exhaust system that roars so you can't hear the whistleing anymore

the whistle comes from the less restrictive flow and the conical filter. there is no stopping it.

and like onemanzu said, get exhaust. i can't hear my cai unless i am standing outside the car by the passenger fenderwell and someone else revs

I love that whistling noise. My intake sucks harder than jenna jameson. I can hear the intake on my car if im in my room, and someone starts my car, but inside the car I can't really hear it.

i thought there was somethin wrong... fewwww...if i get a bigger filter will it help... a little??

I love mine it is super loud sounds like a damn blow off valve in my shifts, but yeah the only way to make it stop it to put the stock airbox back on.
