New Antenna.

For some reason the size of the antenna has been driving me crazy. I want to get a smaller one I found the 14'' one, but I once seen a 99-04 mustang that had a small black rubber one that was bent kinda like a coat hanger. Does any body know what they are called or any information about it?

it replaces your old antenna (just screws in). You can bend it and stuff too that's what I ment by coat hanger in my first post.

I would think so, I'm not sure though. Every body around here has them that's why I started woundering about them because they look good. So if lots of people have them I figure it's the same if not better.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/14in-antenna.html

There is also a bullit (or chrome, I forgot) one that is 14 inches. Reception is the same...if you go below 14, then reception is poor. To be frank, I haven't seen any under 14'' for mustangs, but I'm sure you can find them. Or you can find them off of ebay. Mine was shipped from the website in 3 days. Very pleased with the purchase.

yeah breakout that 14'' was the one i found earlier and the rubber one is 13.5'' but it doesn't matter really about the length of the antenna, it matters about the conductivity of the antenna, not to mention that the rubber antenna is wider giving it a better reception of a 13.5 regular so if you add those factors and others I may not even know about it should be same if not better. I'll try to ask my bro if he can ask him or something because he has had that antenna on his car for some time now.

I've had my 14'' for 3 months now. The reception is no different from the stock one. It looks good too...for those times you actually can see it No more stock sailing mast for me....
