if and when you do get them on and they hang low, cut and weld the longtubes and mid pipe together and they will sit higher. My driver ones hung a bit lower than my passenger and I didnt even do a drop on my car and it always hit the bumps depending how large the bump was. For the bigger ones I had to go over then inch by inch in slow motion to not hit them with the driver longtube, it was close though. Since they were cut and welded together I have had no speed bump probs.

They do go lower. I would say, crawl under the car with a tape measure and give yourself 2 or 3 inches so you can see the worse case scenerio. Measure toward the ground from your collector and from any other point just to give yourself a good idea. Dansby's right though...they will sit different on every car. Thats why I say "assume the worst case" by expecting 2 to 3 inches.

also, do it when the exhaust is real hot after driving it for awhile because its always fun to get burnt by the exhaust!

Long Tubes with a 2" drop will put the collectors about 2.5" off the ground. Clearing speed bumps without scraping will be difficult, if not near impossible. I've seen it done though. You will just have to really watch the road and pick your route carefully.

No they won't hit. I have Eibach Sportlines and Mac LT's:

Just over 2" clearance at the bottom of the flange on the collector pipe.

p.s. You need to treat most speed bumps like stop signs or you sill scrape.
