Chris's 4.2/4.3L V6 turbo build

Well as some may know I blew the old motor:
blown motor 439rwhp evaluation

time for the new parts!

rather then start off a thread disappointing with not much but words
here are the full on pictures of about 90% of the new parts just missing the camshaft and machine work.

4.2/4.3L Rotating Assembly from Redlined Performance Mustangs
Ross Forged Racing Pistion-8:5:1 compression .030 over
SCAT Forged Long Rods
4.2L Steel crankshaft

CRT PERFORMANCE/FFS RACING Ported and polished Cylinder heads- CRT RACING PERFORMANCE |
Stock valves-
Race Ported heads- fully ported and polished through out extensive exhaust runner work---FLOW NUMBERS SOON!!!

Next thing inline along with the heads had to get Comp .600lift springs, especially if you want a cam that'll have a .580-.590 lift
Also before when the car was making 439rwhp and 402rwtq
TRACTION was a huge issue on stock suspension
for now i've only ordered Lakewood 90/10s up front and 50/50s in back
should help a great deal.
Will also need, Moser 28spline axles, and some UPR upper and lower control arms along with a set of lowering springs, then in the future UPR chromoly K-member

Thursday the block hits the machine shop

to start it wont be much...goal 12psi-450rwhp and 430+rwtq

once the boost a pump goes in i can touch about 480-490rwhp
then its time for a bigger turbo and fuel system

You're rear end gonna be able to handle all that?

I know you did something to it but now I can't remember what.

still 7.5 just a trutrac
i do a lot more street racing then Track
the mosers and trutrac should hold til i hit the track. once i hit the track i will need a 2stage boost controller untill i can get a hold of an 8.8 and build it

lookin good man.

can't wait to see what numbers you hit. also very interested in the heads flow numbers. i always love to see a nice engine build going that wants to make lots of power.

My Zoom Stage 3 plus cam in. $250
down side. vs my old 2+ spec its noticable heavier
I'am a weight freak about my car...thats more weight on my rotating assembly
Iam awaiting more comments upon spec 3 vs Zoom 3 I may return it and go spec if weight is about 10lbs difference. 5lbs is ok because the turbo likes load.

But which of the two is stronger, the zoom or the spec? Sometimes you gain weight for strength and I think strength is gonna be a super-must-have for you and that demon you're making. LoL. Watch the spec be lighter AND stronger and you get pissed at waiting for the mail.
