Headlight Cleaning

I recently replaced one of my headlights and now they don't look the same. The original light has a lot of oxidation on the inside and outside of it. I bought a cleaner and it did a lot of good on the outside, but there is still a very obvious difference because of stuff still on the inside of the light. Can I get the headlight of a 99-04 v6 open to clean the inside of it?

Yes they do come apart. I have one sitting in my extra room right now. Bake and carefully pry apart. I had to keep baking mine b/c it would cool down too much. It's a PITA to do!

Don't forget to add a little butter and spices over the top of it when you put it in the oven. This will give it a golden-borwn skin that retians all of the moisture.

Some folks also say that a squirt of lemon juice and a dash of sea salt helps. Myself, I prefer to add some green onions and a clove or two.
