Ft. lauderdale Florida area

the repair might take tops 1 hour

3 bolts hold in the fan
the overflow bottle has ro come out.
unplug the fan
unbolt the 3 bolts
worst case you have to take off the upper radiator hose...

then install reverse...

30min probably

yeah the fan didn't take long. It's just the windows now. We thought it was the regulators but it's the motors. So we got some aftermarket ones at autozone (only place. It's sunday) but of course aftermarket doesn't fit and is crap. So he's getting the ones from Ford tomorrow...

I've always thought the same thing. That's why I even ignored the ad at first, and when I did finaly click on it it was by accident.....but I just had a good feeling about it when I read "origional owner" and "always garaged". And when I called to ask about the car and talked to the lady I knew then I had to check it out.

However, I'd guess that 9 out of 10 times no pic == POS. Especially here in San Diego, home of the salvage title and POS cars going to/from Mexico. I would never buy a car from anywhere between south of the city and the boarder.

those look like clean cars. seems like good deals, but I didn't check blue book. My dad always taught me to never buy a car for more than whole-sale blue book (the "trade-in value").

It is a VERY hard rule to live by, but some how my dad has always managed to follow it. The trick is, you have to be able to walk away sometimes. Hell, the last car he got he offered less than whole sale BB. They didn't want it, so he gave them his number and said to call him if they didn't sell it. Two weeks later they called him and took his offer. Guess there is something to learn from the old man.

One moe thought after seeing those pics....

Damn the hard tops have HUGE backseats compared to the verts. The back seat looks as big as the back of my 4-door escort (which isn't too large). I know it's not that big, but compared to my vert it is like going from coach to first-class.
