I like the sound of my 6 with my set up until about 2100 rpms. At higher RPMs it begins to produce a higher note. Not quite "fart-can-esk" (if there is such a word) but very "6er" sounding. I will not say its "bad" but Im still trying to get used to it. What I get at idle and cruise is a really great throaty sound. I have LT's and no cats with Flowmasters on mine.

I listened to your vid Dansby and I was amazed because it does sound like a diesel. To be dead honest, I would probably consider changing that exhaust as well. Ever consider adding LT's to the current setup?

This is exactly why I love my Cobra take-off exhaust. Doesn't get too loud... since loud usually equals raspy (or overall crappy) on our cars.

It really does sound like a diesel, haha. I've had car guys, truck guys, and guys that know NOTHING about cars or trucks tell me it sounds like a diesel, haha. I've got videos that show it even worse, but we'll avoid those.

I don't have nor want to spend the money on LTs. I might just take smooth up on his offer from his mid pipe and take offs and give those to my exhaust guy and see what he can come up with...haha.

Whats your exhaust setup?

If its pypes thats the problem...
If its pypes an an x pipe that almost as bad as you can get...
if its pypes and an x pipe with no cats you've prob got a horrible sound...

AND IF you have long tubes you just have a louder horrible.

Get a prochamber and some flows
