Service Engine Light..

So, had that darn light come on after I removed my value covers and painted them. Needless to say I had my entire top half taken apart. Now, first error was MAF, I cleared that error code at Auto Zone because I ran to car before I hooked up my CAI and MAF Sensor.

Now its back, and the Auto Zone code was talking about EGR Flow insuffectient. Now, I know I have heard the term EGR before. Whats this mean? How can I fix it, and anything else I need to know?

Your EGR pump is probably clogged up. Just take it out and clean it out a little bit and you should be good

Where is this pump? Why would this happen right after all the work I did... just trying to find a reason for it ya know.

If I can find this thing and take it off, how would I go about cleaning it?

Its that little disk saucer lookin thingy close to the front left side of the upper intake. And you can use some carb cleaner to clean it out. If that doesn't work it is possible that it's the sensor that went bad. Its a very common problem

It's very likely you have a vacuum hose incorrectly connected or an electrical connector not plugged in. There should be a vacuum routing diagram on the hood.
