Body Kit or Body Part.. hmm

I know I was being retarded when I paid how much I did for my cat-back and now its getting bothersome.. it sits under my driver seat and now that I have more work done its unbearably loud and I think now that there is more exhaust pressure the side exit is cutting off some power AND it scrapes so much I looked at the mufflers the other day and they are scratched up bad, the thing about it is I almost NEVER hear it scrape cuz Im careful with the bumps.. I really wanna wait till I can get that saleen style body but I dont wanna have to discard my mach1 chin and the fog lights I installed.. Im thinking I might be better off getting 2 borla mufflers and a GT back bumper.. what do yall think I should do?

what mufflers are you using? cause that could also be why it's loud. but i dunno i got a magna flow side exhuast set up from roush. and its not to bad just around 2500 rpms it's loud... at idle it's quiet like my old exhuast. but the borla exhuast set up will get you a bit more hp with the better flow and yeah i geuss it will be quieter and easier to deal with for body kits... but up to you money is money and orginal stuff compare to what everyone else has

I believe side exhaust does rob you of a few ponies as opposed to rear exit. It could also be loud because of the mufflers like scuba said...Do you think side skirts for the exhaust would help you not to scrape

i really never have obvious scrapes but something is scraping on them... prolly speed bumps but i never hear it cuz i always go easy over bumps but.. i got dual spintech side exhaust and it wasnt so bad before but now i got a cam and some other work done in the engine so it got unbearably loud.. im gonna go ahead and just get a GT back bumper and throw some borla mufflers on it
