Underdrive Pulleys

Where can I find Underdrive Pulleys for my '04 V6? Also, how much power increase will I see if I decide to purchase them? How hard is it to install the Underdrive Pulleys?

I just checked american muscle, and they only have the underdrive pulleys for the gt's, cobras and mach 1's... Do you know anywhere else that may sell them?

Thank you very much. Do you happen to know if I will be noticing a power decrease? because I heard the underdrive pulleys can do that, I have a subwoofer setup and neon underglow lights and I dont want to kill the battery.

i know the 42% pulleys cause a lot of power problems, but the asp is 25% so it would be better, im just not sure if it will still give you enough power to run all that. sorry i cant help anymore...but someone else should come around and pick up where i left off.

ya, i wanted them until some guy in an early 90s accord with them acted like his car was fast and tried to race me...i was a good boy and didnt race him though , i didnt need to prove to him my (at the time) stock v6 was faster than his 4cyl accord with a fart can exhaust system, because he already secretly knew

*i basically still am stock though

i have seen one silver mustang with some blue neon lights that looked pretty sweet though, just still not my thing anymore.

vmptuning.com has them and rpmoutlet.com has a kit with the belt also. either site is fine. got my last pulley kit from rpm a few years back with no issues.

I am just worried about electrical power loss. Do you know where I can find a overdrive pulley for the alternator?

dont get UDP's with that stuff. with my pullies, cant remember but i think they are 25%, my headlights dim, and the air flow on high blast is noticibly lower. when i put my foot on the gas, i can see the lights brighten and hear the air flow increase. o, thats with radio on, of course.

if you want to go all out, you could get the udp, a larger alternator, performance pumps (water, fuel etc), and you would probably be good to go. might as well get a bigger battery while you're at it.

udp were my first mod. loved it. thought the power gain was amazing. silly 6er. mpg +1 or 2 also

i noticed i would kill a battery a little quicker with my pulley's on. i had the crank pulley and an overdrive water pump pulley.

I'd recommend getting the 3 piece set from VMP
comes with the alt pulley

I use a 42% pulley on my car....there no advantage...
but i have 0 extra electrical parts in my car...
I'am looking for an even trade on a 25% though

Do you think that the alt pulley will help because I am running a decent sized sound system.

Do you know if it will be enough, or should I look into getting a bigger alternator or a second battery?
