gas tank? - MPG issue

i was wondering how many gallons of gas the '05 holds cause i filled my tank all the way 2 days ago when i was on HALF tank of gas and today im on 3/4 tank..i know the mpg is that bad.... i only drove about 50 miles today (highway)- going 80mph. whats the deal??

online it says 19/24 mpg soo.. 50 miles took 1/4 tank of gas, that doesnt seem right??

ps...when i filled up my tank when it was on half full it costed me like $18.50

how many miles you got on your car? do you ever see puddles of liquid under your car? do you ever smell gas driving?

nope no smell of gas when driving...i drive with the windows down. nope no puddles either

if your car doesnt have alot of miles on it like.. (less than 10k) than it maybe your gauge is jacked or your motor isnt broken in well.. anyway you look at it your gauge is prolly fubar, you have a leak, or something else Im not educated enough to say is happening! goto to a mechanic tell him the symptomes and say do you know what it might be and if he says bring it up here and well check dont do it just keep asking him wether or not he might know.. cuz mechanics alot of the times know what it is and how to fix it just they are squirley for extra cash
