Big filter isnt neccesarry...the intake /manifods would have to be equally as big for a massive filter to work better than the regular sized ones

I like the plug idea I don't drive in the rain much so installing some sort of latched door would work or I could just disconnect it on rainy days and make something to hold the dryer tube in place.

... or maybe put the undershirt in for a plug... with mesh wire behind it for support... you could make like three of those in a row... and have that be the plug... idk im just tryin to think out of the box..

or make a plug with some wholes in it to get some air into it

that could work. I'm gonna call the company that makes the kit tomrrow and see what they say. It might not even be able to suck water straight up and if I get a slightly slopped scoop the water could drain out.
