Check engine light

Ok so It came on showing telling me my o2 sensors were bad...no problem I just replaced them. The computer is now showing P0153- 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)...What could be the cause of this, or do I just need to reset it

try resetting the car... unplug the battery for a few minuets and then re connect it and run it again... if you get the message again...

well... maybe the wire's went bad?

Hmm I did lenthen the wires myself, but the car runs like a champ. When the sensors were bad it bogged and had no power and would nearly stall all of the time

Could it be because the spot where the sensor screws in on LT headers is farther away

... you didn't get the O2 sensor extensions? you can pick those up for about $40 bucks...

umm ... is it possible for the sensor to be backward??

or... could a wire be bad ... you said you did it yourself... could the ones you used to lenghtin be wrong gauge or something?

oh well never mind then....um the 02 sensor is probably throwing the code because it is seeing improper reading because you dont have the cats on there... just get some MIL eliminators from the net and your good to go

I do have the MIL eliminators...the code bsnk 2 sensor 1 is for the front sensor before the cat...or where the cats would be

Yeah im pretty stumped too maybe ill try new sensors and extensions...I just found it wierd because a non functional sensor throws a different code than the one I got. Perhaps I need a tuner and some new air/fuel ratios?

Do the sensors need to heat up to a certain temp...if so the new placement could be affecting that
