I'm a total sucker. If I had seen that on eBay I probably would've bought it...

a buddy of mine with a 2000 eclipse bought it just for the hell of it. he said he really didn't care if it worked our not, he just wanted to find out, but im pretty sure he was hoping that it would work..

i helped install it and we took it for a spin. it came with a switch to activate the plastic spool. he said he could feel a little more acceleration at higher speeds.. placebo effect? i think so..

it did more harm than good. his idle was jumping up and down because the supercharger was restricting airflow. he eventually took it off and then put it on our other buddy's lt1.
they aren't the brightest bunch of kids..

So, I know how it works, and I wont get it anywhere in the near future as of money, but how does Nitro work? Like I know you can but it in like 25, 50, 75, and 100 shots, and 25s increase your HP by 25, 50s by 50, and so on, right? Is it possible to turn off? or once you let it go does it just all go? And does it last? Like how long does a bottle last (I know it depends on size).

So, here are my current standing questions:

(Read above for Nitro question)

Exhaust, what's the cheapest way to make my car true dual, with a nice sound (no rasp, but deep) without hurting anything?

flowmasters = sound
magnaflow = performance
but you won't see a huge gain in power out of either of them

i think the easiest thing to do is just get two mufflers and have an exhaust shop fab up something.

and i dont know anything about nitrous

Can I go to a junkyard, pull the exhaust off of a 99-04 GT and hook it up? Is it that simple? I just read how the exhaust systems work, and I think that sounds plausible, unless there's techie stuff I'm missing?

you can do that, but from what i've heard, the stock GT exhaust sounds like shit on 6 cylinders.

What if I go to a junkyard, take the muffler and tip off of a v6, buy an H pipe, and combine them?

Just sent you a long @$$ PM lol...

Cheapest way?

Stock Headers FREE
Custom O/R H Pipe $100-150 + Install (1/2 hour - 1 hour)
MAC Cat Back $320 + Install (1 hour - 1 1/2 hours)

Looking at about $550-750 I believe, with $550 being a very low estimate.
When I took my car for an estimate for an H Pipe and Cat Back install, I was told it would be about $200 for labor.

Damn, I was hoping I could do exhaust for like $250-$350, wasnt expecting it to run me like $500-$800 dollars, I knew it could if I wanted it to, just didnt think it would have to.
