Trying to beef-up my 6...
So, I've planned on selling my car (v6) and getting some sort of GT.. But today I realized that my car is in much too excellent of shape for me to just sell it and buy something that is yes, faster, but not near as nice.
In this case, I have decided to put money into my car to make it nicer, and faster. So here is what I've got in mind for mods at the moment.. Performance: Undercoating (not real performance, but not aesthetic) CAI Exhaust Yes I have dreams of putting blowers on it, and the Shaker hood kit, but I really dont have that kind of money right now. Aesthetic: 2003-04 GT hood Chin Spoiler Rear window louvers I'd like to find a bumper with circular style fog lights that fits my car as well.. Anybody with any suggestions, please tell me what they are and why. This goes for mods I've missed, reasons I should or should not do something. Any and all general info. But please tell me why. Thanks guys!

GT Hood is a v6 hood with just a hood scoop on it. Also if you want performance then you might want to get gears, tlok first and some nice wheels and lowering springs to get rid of that 4x4 look. And for the exhaust get MAC lts, a mid pipe and maybe some flowmasters

unless you plan on going FI down the road I think LTs and midpipes are unneccesary

You could also just go to like American Muscle of Latemodel Restoration Supply and just look around and see what you like

I'll be happy with a 6 that is faster then most, and once I'm out of college, or on my first co-op buying a sweet ass car. It'll be great because I get free college tuition, and after my first year I'm pretty much a shoe-in for an RA position, so that means free room and board, so I'll have hefty money. |

Good call on the bumper inserts, Black. I already have 18" wheels off a 2007 Mustang. And I believe my taillights are smoked, as well as my headlights.
.[/quote] Yeah your headlights are smoked but what what he probably means is something like this Smoked Mustang Headlights (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! and for the wheels I realized you had different ones right after I sent that post |

nitrous is 100 times more daily drivable than a blower. It is only there when you want it.

I'll look in to Nitro... also, as far as things like gears and springs, could I possibly do the wrk to put them in myself?

![]() A blower is as daily drivable as anything, besides my car whining its behind off and the extra power I would have never known it was on the car.

springs are an easy and fun install

Yes, actually. That might be one of the first things I look into. Well one of them. But it wasn't something that like popped out to me as a mod like it needed to be installed. What would be a good brand and how exactly do you work a tuner? I kinda know what they do, but I've never seen anybody use one..
