i got a ticket a few weeks ago.

and well it was for license plate light being out and my car wasnt registered. no biggie. went and got lights that day. well, i went to get it registered the other day but come to find out the original owner of the car had it and then got it repo'd. well i assume they got it back. because i bought it from them

well the person who repo'd it signed the back of the title which fucked it up. meaning now the original owner has to go to ford to get another title for it. which means i have to wait even longer to get my car registered. and i have court the 18th of this month. anyone know how long it takes to get a new title in? this is such bs. lol ive had the car since about april and never got it registered because i had to pay for other stuff and didnt have the money to get it registered. i finally have the money to do it and cant. and now im going to have to pay a fine. ghey! at least i wont have to pay a fine for the license plate lights. i have pictures, the old bulbs, and the receipt for the new ones.

they can give you a temp reg. while the title comes in that day. i think the temp is good for like 90 days

ive had the car since like april. and i bought from a private owner. can i still get the temp registration? also from where? ford or courthouse. im assuming the courthouse.

the titled owner would have to get the registration . your going to have to wait for that title to come in.

thanks guys. ill get her to get me a temp registration. i have no clue how her car got repo'd her husband has an M3, supercharged NSX, she has a lexus SUV, and they live in rice university area of houston. million dollar houses. and the cheapest thing they own got repo'd lol. it doesnt make sense. maybe she will be able to shed some light on it. the only good thing about this is, well shes freaking hot!

yeah tickets suck...i bought a radar detector...lol 98 bucks at walmart about 4 months ago.....its prolly saved me from a 20 tickets...best thing ive done to my car....lol :award

Yeah but you ahve to watch out Radar Detectors are illegal in alot of places...

And also if you get pulled with a radar detector in your car you are less likely to get out of a ticket.

they arn't illegal where I live thank god! Plus this is a lesson to you never buy from a private owner just buy from dealer ship and never have a problem have 2 year warrenty and have every thing checked cleaned for free. Trust me the money you save buying from private owner will usauly be spent on the repairs and other bs..

lol where did that come from jeff? and the reason people dont buy from dealerships..... THEY ARE EXPENSIVE! they wouldve sold my $4000 car to me for probably $7000

thats true.. i couldve gotten my car for cheaper from a private seller.. but i wouldnt have gotten a warranty so, i can kinda see what jeff means

i bought mine from a private seller. 3 weeks later the clutch went out. meh too bad. its a used car. cant expect it to be perfect

lol all that means is you finally get to put the stage 6 clutch in to handle all that nitrous your gonna be running
