rust repair!!!! urgent!!!!


i just hit 100,000 miles...luckly i rebuilt the engine at 98k miles....lol....anyways...i noticed a lil rust spot on the corner of my passenger side door...so i dont want shit getting in it so i sanded it lil spot and it seems water and salt got under the paint and is causeing bubbles..(not from me sanding it..from the nick) any ways its just a lil sand spot but i never noticed now i did i cant stand it.....its about a six inch area where the paint is bubbled...and shows some rust...i need to fix this b4 they salt the roads...shit there goes a plow salting preparing for the am snow...any suggestion on how to fix this problem area..im thinking i sand the area down and just dupli color it?? it about the size of a cd case....i need help i dont want this to get bigger....

your going to need to do it right instead of just sanding it and painting it.

sand it down until the rust is gone. then seal it,prime it,paint it, clear it, ect..

ok i do auto body and i can see if i can help u first off u will need to grind the paint down where the rust spot is, tape areas where u dont want to get grinded, as a precaution then get a sand blaster sand blast the rust spots then use glazing putty sand with 180 grit, till its smooth and contour with the panel use a DA and feather out the sandscratches with 180 get ready to primer tape everything u dont want primered go over 3 times sand it with 320 then wet sand with 800 grit then prep for paint.
