As far as combination between sound and performance am i better off with shorties or longtube?

some say longtunes, others say shorties. I think if ur going turbo, youd want shorties. If not, get long tubes

long tubes on any n/a, supercharger, or nitrous setup. you cannot beat the flow improvement of long tubes.

shorties only if needed for a turbo app.

mac is the only company that makes them for the v6 mustang, and nino is great to deal with. i called him and got special pricing on stuff in the past.

long tubes improve the flow alot. i think they give you slightly bigger increase in hp to?

seat of the pants? lol but yeh you can definatlly hear the difference.. the sound of an even fire mustang kinda grew on me.. then I switched to borla mufflers... now I cant hear them unless I gas it.. kinda annoying actually

ditch the cats. my magnaflows idled silently until i removed the cats and slapped long tubes on it...

edit: and my car was really loud with spintech mufflers but these borla mufflers really just tone it down.. it may be because instead of right under me its at the back of the car now too

i know they are nice and i got a lucky deal on them.. they're the glasspack looking borlas so i was excited to get them for so cheap... i bet ill be fine with it being so quiet after i get a poweradder and whne im older "being cool" wont be a issue anymore lol
