my bro got a 2007 gt

he's 22 years old. has bad credit. hes got a 5 year loan. and after all is said and done it cost him $27k. thats a "premium" GT, shaker 1000 audio system, full interior upgrade, and some more stuff. his insurance is $240 a month. less than mine. im just posting this to show the people who said they got the v6 because of insurance purposes. and ive seen people who bought a v6 for $1000 less than his. just something to think about if your trying to decide over a new v6 or a gt. oh and that shaker audio system sounds badass!

1. why would a v6 insurance be so high...
2. he'll never get any mods on it
3. I could spend 27k on my car on everything i ever wanted and still have money to spend on clothes and candy
4. a aftermarket sound system is better!
5. gas milage

sounds like a badass car

1)my insurance is high because im 18 and a guy. and thats just one thing people say helps them to pick the v6.
2)lol why wouldnt he mod it? we talked to them to see what mods would void the warranty. 1st things we asked were; S/C, exhaust, gears. they guy said as long as its done right it wont void the warranty. so yes he will mod it.
3)so could i, but it wont be a new, wont have the great warranty, and this is what HE wanted.
4)im sure most do, but this sounds really freaking great.
5)who cares? i drive alot and i wouldnt complain if i had a gt. its better than my v6. sure it gets worse gas mileage. if i worried about gas mileage i'd have a honda in my driveway.

oh ya forgot to mention. in the city the v6 gets 1-2 mpg better. woopde doo.

you make good points on 2. i meant how will he afford it while hes paying off the 27k.. sorry i kinda jumped the gun on that if hes rollin the dough he can .. i should of said quickly

dont get me wrong sounds badass but i like the 99-04 models more.. more power to him tho

i mean I aint gonna lie id rather have a GT or above but i was just making some points for the v6.. and about your insurance??? mines not nearly that high and i am 17.. but i never got tickets or in a wreck before (knock on wood)..

what color is it? (ext, int)

he's been working in iraq, need i say more lol
but hes just going to do little stuff first. not jump into the s/c or gears.

i have full insurance. and only ticket ive gotten is for registration.

my car is black outside, tan inside. and his is vista blue outside, and black leather inside.

also he got his car, upgraded for the MSRP price . its amazing what research and talking can do for you.

yeah dealers always try to bullshit you for extra commission.. but if you stand firm enough they will always drop the price because they rather get some commission than none

go to www.fordvehicles.com and build a car. and then when choosing options and stuff. go to interior and choose dark charcoal. thats what he got. looks great if you ask me. but i do like the shifter. much much much better than the old ones. reminds me of a shifter in expensive cars.

they had a roush F-150 there. it was badass. and they had an f-150 that had a shaker hood. but looked kind of like a lincoln truck but definetly a ford. any idea?

lol i have no idea what ford aftermarket company would make it look like a lincoln.. maybe it was a billit grill?

i like the way the seats are just not better than the 99-04s, and the dash n stuff looks too... plastic to me and the gauges are too akward.. i mean id prolly warm up to them but as of now IMO i dont likey =(

those shifters are cool tho and the best part is they arent like a truck's standard sitting 2 foot off the gear box lol

About the insurance thing...I just got fucked because the insurance company found out about my neglegent ticket haha. I would now be paying $250 a month. Double what I was paying before. Needless to say I'm switching companies. Those guys are pricks. O and btw that was ONLY for liability.
