shaker system on a v6?


my friend the one with tha black v6 o2 stang was wondering about the shaker systems and putting on on his v6?? they have the kits but i wanna know if it would be worth it...its about 750 with sh included is it worth it?

it's worth it if you want looks. Ram air is not beneficial until you hit like the 80-90+ mph range, and it will only give you the benefits of a cai. The only thing about it that is better than cai is that moves when you rev the engine, and it looks better than a cai.

yeah.. it would only really be beneficial to you if you were driving against the wind on a windy day or if you have a higher powered engine

hmmm well i heard it atleast 20 hp to the engine on the v8s.....idk what it would do to the v6....

manufacturer claims are based liked the mpg claims. They are in extremely controlled situations, and not really put to the test of everyday driving. You will almost never see those claims, and also the v8's are more responsive to mods. The v6 engine was made for a consertative driver.

ic.....so its basically like 5hp if that and added looks for a v6 huh? hmmm so its prolly not worth it in the long run

if they say 20hp they mean like 2-5rwhp lol.. and on a v6 it would be a 1/4 of what the v8 would get

It would look bad, but the price of a kit/ work of fabbing stuff wouldnt really pay off...unless your making a mach clone
