i want to put a 5.0 in my '00 v6 3.8..possible?
hey i was just wondering if someone can help me out i just bought a 2000 mustang v6 3.8l auotmatic but i want more ummph i want to put a 5.0 in it and was wondering if you guys could let me know how much work it would be and what all i would need to do it or if you have any other things i could do to my v6 that would help to thanks

Unless this comes in a 331, 351, 408, etc stroker with aluminum high flow heads.... Its a big waste of time and money to swap a stock 5.0.

i also forgot to add i am a rookie at the stangs so also would like advice to make more power out of my v6 list me some things from cheap power up to big power thanks alot

I suggest looking into 3 engines and you can go read up on em. 4v Cobra engine, After market block 5.0, or a 351w. i wouldnt get a stock 5.0 block i heard it cracks strait down the middle after 420hp which is the lowest recorded mostly but its around 480+hp.
