Sounds like electrical. Whether it's the battery or not...dunno. 2005? Should be under warranty. Take it to your dealership and have it fixed for free! If it can't be fixed on the spot, they'll give you a rental. I had a ford taurus when my tranny was being replaced, and I beat the hell outta it.

texas eh?? maybe it's just your dealership. My service sucked when I took my car in. I contacted ford corporate....and they made my dealership detail my car for free (the fix was alright...but the service people sucked)! I'd do the same if I were you. Just go online at ford.com and look for contact us. If you plead your case and everything was horrible for you, I'd think they'd so somethign for you like they did for me.

ok heres another clue...when i put the key in and turn it only twice...(which usually turns on the AC and electricals) everything goes spazzo..all the warning lights flash, the speedometer and rpm things flash, and all the lights on the console flash. its really messed up so the dealer is gonna tow it and maybe fix it free.

maybe???? MAYBE?????? Are you f*ckin kidding me.? They WILL fix it for FREE. They have NO choice! As long as you didn't do any electrical mods (sound system, new stereo head unit, etc.)...then they have to. It's not your fault. I'd be pissed off if they gave me a mabye. I'd tear them a new asshole.
