95 3.8 questions?

ok so i just bought my 95 3.8l about 3 weeks ago and have a few questions.
1. so i have these tailights with the horizontal lines and was wondering if there are any vertical lined lines i could put on from a mustang in a junkyard?
2. will the 95 gt wing fit on my car?
3. what kind of suspension should i put on to make it look mean?
i am not trying to spend alot since i just bought the car so let me know

1-i know putting the 96-98 tail lights into the 94 or 95 is a pretty common visual mod, but ive never researched on how easy it is, but someone else when know here.
2-yes the spoiler will fit, but you just have to drill the holes and what not.
3-just go look at this page:
94-98 Mustang Springs at AmericanMuscle - Free Shipping!
just click on the different springs and look at how much they will lower your car and you can look at the customer images.

so it is possible to change the tailights the only problem i heard was with the trim but i dont know what that problem is, hopefully it wont be a big deal and i can swap them with no problems.

i figured all i would have to do is drill the holes i just wanted to make sure everything would line up ok.

thanks for the link i think i may buy through them all i have to do is find out how low i actually want my car.

thank you.

also do you know and cheap bolt on mods i could do to gain some quick hp without damaging my motor?

Just remember if you buy springs you also might want to get caster camber plates. For us sixxers bolt ons don't do much for us but since you have a 95 you could get a split port intake swap.

ya the spoiler will line up fine if you drill it right.

and ive never heard any problems with the trim, but ive heard you will have to wire it appropriately for the tail light change. but it shouldnt be too hard considering how common of a change it is.

and like stated earlier, there is no cheap way to just bolt on a good amount of hp on our car, our engine just isnt reactive enough. i would recommend a split port intake swap though. that will give you 40hp but i dont know the price for that, but it is said to be one of the most cost effective mods that can be done to a 94-98 v6.

and i forgot to mention, but 00bluemustang was right, you will need the caster camber plates.

IMHO keep the stock lights. They're very distinctive of the 94 and 95. They make you just that much more different than the other guys out there.

ok so i will deffinately get the wing and the suspension + camber plates.
now i am also looking into dual exhaust and was wondering a cost effective way to do it. i will be throwing thrush glasspackeds on it just not so sure about the rest of the exhaust.
does anyone know a price on the split port intake or a car i could get it off?

dexter i agree with you they are very different so as of this point i am 50/50 of the change i am going to do the dual exhaust and wing and see how i like them from there if i like the look i might just smoke them.

thanks for all the posts.

Split ports come off of 99-04 v6 mustangs..and I have no clue what so ever who makes a kit for the split port swap, I wanna say VAP does but that sounds wrong.

different doesnt necessarily mean good though lol. imo those lights are the worst that have ever been used on a mustang, but its your car so you do what you want with it.

for exhaust, just buy the mufflers and have an exhaust shop make you an x-pipe, H-pipe, or divorced dual exhaust and the catback. and dont go over 2.5" diameter while doing the exhaust.

like i said i am not positive with the lights yet.

i am considering the split port but i want to look into it.

would 410 gears make much difference with a t lock?

also does anyone have any links for a sport trans, auto that is not very exspensive?

i cant help you with an auto tranny, but as far as 410s and a t lock, youll notice a huge difference. you wont find anybody that did gears and a t lock that isnt happy with the results.

Many say 4.10s and tlok should be one of the first mods you do

you won't gain any hp w/ the 410s, but you will accelerate faster. a split port swap will run you about 400 or so.. you can get a cold air intake, you won't be able to notice any hp gains, but it will make your car a little bit louder.

Get a Jmod. It will make it shift quicker. There isn't really much in the line of 'sport transmissions' for these cars.

ok so the tlock and 4.10s are definitely getting done fast probably as soon as i am done putting the wing on and the dual exhaust which i figure i am going with the x pipe.

jmod with a tuner i am hearing make shifts faster and firmer. cant wait to get it done.

so with the split port swap, tlock, 4.10s, jmod, tuner, and duals, i am guessing will make a noticable difference and be my first step in performance upgrades?

after that i plan to do some cosmetics including paint, wheels and tires even though they are considered performance, and possible hood upgrade, tailights headlights and stuff of that sort.
