It looks like a walkie talkie. Anyway, i dont think you need to go to that extreme. I would get a viper alarm system with a power sensor. When someone attempts a break in, the power is cut off so they cant actually steal your car.

Awesome is the place for the radio split or one big hole?

Yeah I have an alarm so they can't steal the car but my radio is a different story. So I just plan on getting a nice H/U and using the money I get for the Sub for ud pullies and a B&M shifter.

thats why you should get a head unit witha removable face, b/c when they see that you have an upgraded head unit, the very next thing they do it pop the trunk, b/c they know theres some subs mostlikley in there. i was on another forum and what one kid did to prevent theft of his subs, was buy a 20 pack of exacto blades, and put them all along the inside bottem of the box, so when they try to rip the box out, they get stabbed. true story, some one broke into the kids car, they kid came back found his driver window broken and his trunk popped, but his subs were still there and so was a finger.

+ 1 for exacto blades on inside box.

And then you get sued for it.

A guy tried breaking into this other guys house, fell through his sunroof, fell on a knife and was paralyzed from the waist down, and sued him, the guy lost his house because of it.

i know its a little late, but sorry, that sucks

I went on Friday or Thursday to get a quote from Precision Audio for an In dash DVD player, with the works, navigation and everything, and I told them right there, if I get this, Im getting an alarm, so for the cheaper DVD system it was 2000 with the viper alarm, and for the top of the line dvd system it was 3000 with the viper alarm also. So when I get everything hooked up I am definately getting that alarm...

Hey ya never know, maybe one day you will hear some little douche bag bragging about this system they jacked from a Stang.......

Yeah I hear that and that little douche bag will be happy if a wheel chair will help him.

And yes I have an alarm but it isn't like a noise alarm it just shuts down so they can't steal the car.
