Speedo after gears. Where to buy gears and speedo fix...

What do I need to do to get the speedo back on track after I install the 3.73's I'm getting?

And where is the best/cheapest place to buy the gears and thing to fix the speedo? Thanks guys.

You will need to get a tuner to fix the speedo...many go with SCT. And since you are getting an 8.8, you can try americanmuscle.com but I dont know the best prices for an 8.8 rear end because I only a 7.5

im pretty sure there is a cheaper place to get 8.8 3.73's from than american muscle, dont wanna spend 200 on them, i seen before somewhere for 150... i will if i have to though. anyone know a cheaper place?

also i thought there was another route to go with than getting a tuner for speedo.. am i wrong?

You could use a speedcal..but a tuner would be better.

I have an appointment to get my 3.73 gearing with loc in my 7.5 installed. I aint going big on any horsepower and I just want to have both tires spinning when I burn out..lol!!!

There is a place where they can tune the car for me,so i won't need to buy one...but I might anyway..HHMMMMMM!!!

Try Richmond gears also,
for the speedo fix, If you dont want/have the money to spend another 400 for a tuner I believe you can go to a Ford dealership near you and they can recal. it for you.Think its somewhere around 50, but I could be off.
