My cold air induction has a problem

Hey guys i finally got those elbows together and put my aftermarket filter down in the quarter panel using 2 4'' pvc elbows i had to cut the ends just a little to shortn it all up. Plus its not low enough to get wet. But i have one problem when i start it up it puts alot of exhuast out even when warmed up(lots of smoke aka Gas) it hasnt ever done it and yes i still have all my sensors. does having no cats create this problem can someone shed some light on the situation!!!!

put the old one back on and see if it stops, if so, theres something wrong with your filter install.

in Canada they hook a machine up and do a chemical analysis of ur emissions as well as an obd2 test and if u fail the obd2 test u automatically fail they wont even try to test ur car. well at least in Ontario. but supposedly they are eliminating emissions testing all together here in a few years
