STANG performance chips.... from ebay


so i looked at ebay under performance chips and found sum for 30 bucks and the ppl who bought them said they liked them and no prob installing them will these so called chips really do anything ??? i think they are kinda cheap for a chip they even have a 30 day money back garentee and they will even refund shipping they do say they are real and not fake chips they called the fake ones reinators or sumthin like that lol i have a 94 stang some one help

Its basically just a $.10 resistor that you can buy at radioshack that you put into the car where the IAT (Intake air Temp) sensor is to make the computer think that the air going into the engine is cooler than it actually is, thus changing the fuel mixture

Yes it would be the same if you got it from radioshack...a resistor is a resistor...doesn't matter where you get it from.

But i don't recommend you do it to your car...either get a real tuner/performance chip (like the sct eliminator chip) or dont do anything at all

True statement. I tried thinking of something under $100 and couldn't think of anything lol.
Those things are scams I'd never buy one of those. Do it right and get a real tuner.

the only mod you can get under $100 that isnt crap is a cai, and those dont do much...3hp maybe.
but if you could pay $30 bucks for one of those and they would actually increase hp and mpgs as much as they say it would, why wouldnt they be stock on every car?
