w/e you say.. im not gonna fight it but anyone who thinks a fuckin cobalt can keep up with a car that does 0-60 in 4 seconds is well off.. and a cobalt would never have a better track handling than a evo.. go drive a cobalt then go drive a evo.. then come back when you have a better idea of whats going on

omg keep interpreting what im saying wrong sti beats it in the turn evo cant get there suspension down lmao...and in 06+ didnt the revert the evos to rear wheel drive?..the cobalt puts a .88 on the skid pad...btw im going on 06 stats not 07...07 cobalts are the exact same thing...evo and evo are to complete different thign look it up...\
in 06 cobalt ss skidpad =.88 06 evo...skidpad=.71 07 evo x skidpad=.93

Sorry but I am a huge fan of Lancer Evos but I am not being Biased at all.. The Evo 9 would take the win hands down. (in track or drag against both WRX and Cobalt)

note: a cobalt could maybe beat a mustang gt in a track race simply because the mustang would have the rear-end kicking out of every turn..the type of drive means everything

lol im just going on by what ik on the car and what car and driver has rated....ide rather have a cobalt...its cheaper...and stage 2 it for 200 bucks and be putting the same power as and evo and still be looking better.....if u do look it up the the evos suspension has been out of it till this year..07 whent he brought out the evo wich dominates the sti every wich way...im looking a car and driver thats where im getting these number from.,..
in 07 car and driver rates the "evo x" the fastes over all fourcylnder""in 05 cobalt ss is the fastest 4 cyl." u gotta specify years...kind saying oh my stock 97 v6 is faster than a 05 v6.....

no street car from a major manufacturer is currently rated from the wheels for the hp/tq in the US, that is a fact. Thay are all rated from the crank. And Jap manufacturers are known to exagerate their figures. Only truely believe dyno graphs, and a figure SAE certified (ex. Z06's 505hp) Dont even let me get into how homo/racist/lying some of the top gear people are. the evo is faster stock only because it runs far more boost stock than the cobalt or almost any other stock 4 banger. People think the evo and the STi are gods or something, but all they are infact are just awd high boost cars. This means that some of their potential is already used up from the factory. If it were me I would take Cobalt over the evo or STi because of the capabilities of the car with merely bolt on mods. A full bolt on cobalt should be MUCH faster than a full bolt on evo, especially around a circuit track.(ive seen the numbers) Also, the ecotec engine family is fairly kick ass and has the capability to be tuned for far better performace than a conventional FI engine. So, with that $10k extra I would have spent buying the evo, I would have a MUCH faster modified cobalt. The only advantage I see over the cobat that the EVO and the STi have is awd, but that only gives an advantage on slippery/loose surfaces. (I wont get into that, were talking about dry pavement stuff) The cobalt has been track proven to have a well balanced fwd set up, capable of standing with or beating other driveline set ups it would go against on dry pavement.(circuit, time trial, ect.)

don't claim that we don't know what we are talking about when you have only supported our conversation you never proved either of us wrong.. we were talking about stock for stock so i really dont care what you like better... and I never said a evo was a god but it is a fast car... your ignorant for even making the assumtions on what WE THINK you dont know what we THINK so get off of your wanna be power trip
and your whole bullshit about the hp of cars not being rated at the wheel is a fact? how the hell do you know it is indeed a FACT?! my next door neighbor drives a EVO 9 bonestock it was rated out of the factory for 286 hp and he had it dyno'd for 283RWHP.. you dont know what your talking about

STI should beat an Evo. Plus evos are finicky so I would rather own a STI IMO
