For a CAI go for one on EBAY. Same thing, all it is is a tube and filter really. So same performance gains for $30 less.

Well get gears first then exhaust:Mac Lt's, O/R H pipe, Flowmaster catback. Then get your CAI and then a tuner. That would be a good base to start off on and you will have quite a bit of money left over to do what ever with.

well gears and tlok install will be 250-300 and for the exhaust i bought my flowmaster catback from the muffler shop and it was 400 for the price of the catback and the install of the catback and the hpipe.

Also if your just doing the hpipe and the catback you could easily do it in your driveway. The only reason i had mine done is because i couldnt find the catback anywhere. Im not sure what your talking about on the CAI but when you install the CAI you will be taking out the entire tube. Heres a link for the install of some parts including the CAI..1999-2004 Mustang Parts Installation Instructions at AmericanMuscle.com

with 3000, I would go with gears and a t-lok as well as cam, heads, and ported upper/lower intake.

+1 on the H/C/I and gears...........go for gears and tlok then a tuner so you can tune in your gears otherwise you will have a speedo thats off, then a cai for cheap the the heads, cam, and intakes and maybe a tb oh and the splitport swap, that alone would make the world of a difference for ya

First mod should be a split port swap. It's not on the list but is a 40 HP upgrade for you. Silly New edge guys always forget they start out a step ahead of us sn95 guys.
