ive made countless amount of threads on this . now i decided magnaflow is not the way to go ...

i was thinking Flowmaster or MAC

ive been doing my research .. i just want some single digit HP add and loud sound .

can anyone help?

I'd like to know also.. alot of people told me MAC is the way to go but, alot of people said Flowmasters are the way to go. So, I'd like to know also.. I wanna know how MAC Flowpaths stand up next to Flowmaster 40s.

i like the sound of flows

if you want noticeable gains from exhaust get loungtube headers.

yesterday my friend got a fart cannon for his car and we just put the end of it on my exhaust pipe to see what it sounded like, it was funny.

i hate the sound of those. neways i called my local muffler sho p and a guy that i can trust tole me there is a generic muffler called a full bore and he said he has done a few of them on sixxers around here and he said thats the best thing he has heard on a sixxer. but in my opinion 40s are the way to go if you want some hp and a good trusted sound.

the patents ran out on flowmaster last month...look around and talk to local muffler shops ...inseatd of a 100 a muffler u can by them for like 50 a muffler thats whta i did with my setup exact same thing as a flow but different brand

Mac or flowmaster is recommended cuz on a sixer most people say they sound the best

on the 05+ i like the macs over the flowmaster sound

with just exhaust/cat back you wont see or feel gains that are noticable on a stock car or even a lightly modded car

when i got mine on the guy said people have dynoed their v6 and seeing just 3hp with light mods. and just cat back. i was told i got maybe 1hp from mine

if you want power you'll only see it from headers unless you've got some mods in there.

but exhaust is still a VERY good choice of mods and i deffinitly recommend it
MAC with an H pipe and long tubes. if you plan on turbo in the future then just get the cat back.

hate to intrude on a thread, but i want to ask if either of these kits would work as a stand alone system...meaning would i need any other pieces to make it complete (obviously the kit doesn't have headers or that kind of stuff):

well if it helps you pick the guy that replaced my window today (who drove a mach 1) swore up and down that my car was an 8 till I showed him it was a 6 and I have flows.

just get what you think sounds the best.. the power increase is too minimal to justify anything and there has been a lot of proof that exhaust systems work much better within their own complete system (i.e. mac headers, mac midpipe, mac catback) rather than a mix match. Get what you think you like and you can always change.

Flows are so common.

MACS are loud and mean.

I like SLP best but since your logic app. ruled it out, I'd say go MAC.

I love flows, but they sound way too common.
