MSD Plug Wires

I'm doing a tune up on my car this weekend and i was wondering if MSD Plug wires are worth the $69.95. I'm also getting NGK iridium plugs. Thanks

IMO, no. But others will say they have gotten 50,000 HP out of the MSD stuff. Get Autolite plugs. If you are trying to make the engine bay look nice, it might be worth it because they look good.

I will say that $69 is a good price though. When I looked a them they were like $90 but that was about a year ago.

from what i have been told, they are only worth it if you upgrade your coil pack at the same time.

I have the MSD Wires... they look nice but there is no advantage unless you upgrade the coil pack. Think about it... you are adding in a larger plug but not adding any extra power to go through that bigger plug.

Demon Coil Pack = more voltage
MDS Wires = Large wire to transfer said voltage

I'm kinda weary about paying all the money for this stuff and not being really able to tell a difference

Warning:
You won't really be able to feel a difference, unless your stock wires/coil is causing missfires or something.

yeah you wont gain any performance or even any better gas miliage. Even if you upgrade your coils, your wires AND your plugs you wont notice a difference in a stock engine. The only time you need to upgrade these things is for a power adder or serious motor power.

But it does look better than stock, and if you NEED to replace your wires and whatnot, might as well get em. But I wouldnt replace them just because.
